Il mio contenitore per l'ETX-125EC è stato realizzato in legno compensato marino,
verniciato con un fondo color noce e con una vernice per parquet.
My ETX-125EC box has been built by a marine use plywood, painted with walnut color and
parquet paint.
Le dimensioni esterne (escluse le ruote) sono 58x35x35 cm e lo spessore del legno è 13
mm.
The external dimensions (without considering the wheels) are 58x35x35 cm and the wood
thickness is 13 mm.
Nella prima foto lo si può vedere chiuso; si notano le ruote avvitate alla base per
spostarlo con più facilità quando viene riposto e, sul fianco sinistro, i collegamenti
elettrici per la batteria.
In the first picture you can see it closed; you can see the wheels on the bottom, to
put it away easily. On the left side, you can see the electrical connections for the
battery.
Nella seconda foto si può notare la batteria al piombo-acido da 12 V / 7 Ah e i
blocchi di espanso che sorreggono il telescopio.
In the second picture yoy can see the 12 V / 7 Ah lead-acid battery and the foam
blocks supporting the telescope.
Nella terza foto si nota il modo in cui viene riposto il telescopio: le forcelle e la
parte terminale del tubo appoggiano sui blocchi di espanso; la base, tramite una tavola di
legno avvitata, appoggia sul fondo del contenitore, tenendo il tubo in asse (declinazione
90o). Un ulteriore pezzo di espanso conformato ad "U" tiene fermo il
tubo durante il trasporto.
In the third picture yoy can see the way the telescope is put away: the forks and the
OTA lay on the foam blocks; the base, by a wooden board screwed to the bottom of the
telescope, lays onto the bottom of the box, keeping the OTA at a declination of 90o.
The U-shaped foam block keeps the OTA blocked during the transport.
Nella quarta foto si vede il contenitore pronto all'uso come tavolino di supporto.
Risulta molto stabile nonostante il peso ridotto (10,5 Kg compresa la batteria, che pesa
2,5 Kg da sola). Si può notare anche il cavetto di alimentazione per il telescopio (il
polo positivo è quello centrale).
In the fourth picture you can see the box ready for use as a little table. It is very
stable in spite of the light weight (10.5 Kg including the battery, that weights 2.5 Kg
itself). You can also see the cable used for powering the telescope (the positive pole is
the central pin).
Per il trasporto due robuste maniglie permettono di sollevare il contenitore
agevolmente.
For the transport I use the two handles to lift the box easily.
