C'è un problema utilizzando l'ETX-90RA: per utilizzare bene il cercatore serve avere
l'occhio destro estraibile per poterlo accostare all'oculare (in alternativa bisogna farsi
amputare il naso). In ogni caso quando il tubo ottico è puntato a declinazioni alte se in
equatoriale (o vicino allo zenith se in altazimutale) il cercatore diviene completamente
inutilizzabile perchè l'oculare è nascosto dall'ingombro della montatura.
There is a problem using the ETX-90RA: in order to use the finder well you need to
have your eye extractable to put it near the eyepiece (in a second choice you need to have
your nose amputated). In any case when the OTA (optical tube assembly) is pointed toward
high declinations when in equatorial mode (or near the zenith when in altazimuthal mode)
the finder becomes completely unutilizable because its eyepiece is hidden by the mount.
Fortunatamente esiste un accessorio della JMI
che permette di risolvere brillantemente il problema del cercatore dell'ETX: il kit di
conversione a 90° per il cercatore dell'ETX-90RA.
Fortunately exists a JMI accessory that
brilliantly solves the ETX-90RA finder problem: the 90° conversion kit.
Si tratta di un tubo, con specchio diagonale incorporato, che, utilizzando sia
l'obiettivo che l'oculare originali dell'ETX-90RA, permette una visione a 90°.
Semplicemente favoloso.
It is a pipe, with star diagonal, that, using both ETX-90RA original lens and
eyepiece, gives a 90° vision. It's simply excellent.
