A me serviva una scheda digitalizzatrice che non fosse montata sul bus del PC ma
connessa ad una porta esterna, in modo da poterla utilizzare anche con i PC portatili. La
scelta è caduta sulla Snappy 3.0 della Play tale digitalizzatore di immagini si collega sulla porta parallela. La qualità è
eccellente: permette di ottenere ottime foto a 1500x1125 con profondità di colore a 24
bit!
I needed a video capture device that was not mounted on the PC bus but connected to an
external port, in order to use it on a laptop computer. I chose a Play Snappy 3.0; such an image digitizer is
connected to the parallel port. The quality is excellent: it let you get beutiful
1500x1125 images, with a 24 bit colour depth!
Per quanto riguarda il software di controllo, dispone di una finestra di anteprima, con
immagini aggiornate più volte al secondo, e, al momento giusto "Snap!" e la
foto è fatta: appare dopo pochi secondi sul monitor. Una volta acquisita l'immagine è
possibile elaborarla subito prima di salvarla (luminosità, contrasto, incisività, ecc.).
As far as the software, it has a preview window, with many times a second refreshed
images, and when you're ready "Snap!" and the picture is taken: it is displayed
after a few seconds. Once the picture is taken you can modify it just before saving it
(brightness, contrast, sharpness and so on).
Viene alimentata con una pila da 9 Volt che fornisce energia sufficiente per circa in
migliaio di scatti.
This device is power supplied with a 9 Volts battery that gives energy for about 1000
snapshot.
